Welcome

Hi there, thanks for taking time to visit my blog. My name is Audrey Lewis, and I'm a busy Mom of 5 kids living in the Boise, Idaho area. I've always had a passion for taking pictures, but I really fell in love once I started having my own children. I realized how fast they grow up, and I wanted to capture every little moment I could so that I don't ever forget these precious years. I love photographing children, there's just something so magical about seeing the world through a childs eyes. I hope you enjoy your visit, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Cute as can be!

I should really, really be in bed right now, but I just couldn't resist editing these pictures tonight. These little kiddos are my new neighbors, and they are absolutely beautiful! I feel really shallow admitting this, but I was really excited when I saw how cute my neighbor kids were and was so excited Mom was was willing to let me try my new studio out on them. I just love their big brown eyes and beautiful olive skin, they are absolutely beautiful children. Not only that, they're bundles of energy and fun. I got even more excited when I saw all the super cute clothes Mom had for them, I can't wait to take these guys downtown. Between the clothes and the cute kids, we got tons of adorable ones. Hope you enjoy your little sneak peek Mom, and thanks again for being so patient!

I'm so in love with this one.

Just look at those amazing eyes!

And I simply couldn't resist posting this, it's classic. Our little neighbor gal loves to hold Abbey and carry her everywhere. Can you tell that Abbey loves it as much as she does? Just priceless! We were trying so hard to get her to smile, I guess all she needed was Abbey in her lap!

So Adorable!!!

Just a quick update, my monitor broke down on me last week, which means I haven't been able to edit for forever. I'm so behind, and I'm so grateful to all of you for being so patient while waiting for your sneak peaks. I got my new monitor today after quite the ordeal, so we're back in business (I hope). And I'm really hoping my colors are ok since the monitor isn't callibrated yet. Let me know if they're wonky!

These are some of the most adorable little girls I've ever photographed! I had so much fun, they were so sweet and full of personality. They reminded me of their Mom who is seriously the most giggly, happy person I've ever met. You can't help but smile when you're around her, and her daughters are the same way. I could have posted tons of pictures of them, but I want to keep a few a surprise for their Mom. Could they be any more beautiful? I hope you love them Mom, and thanks so much for the fun night!

I couldn't decide if I liked the color or black and white better on this one, so guess what, you're seeing them both.

I am in love with this little thing she does, I have tons of pictures of her making this face and holding her hands like that, so cute!

Christmas Cards!

I am so excited about my Christmas cards this year! I have been working on my sneak peak for a while now, but unfortunately wasn't able to finish before my computer started giving me grief (meaning my monitor is busted), but hopefully once my new one arrives next week sometime I'll be able to upload the rest. I was to excited not to share a couple now though.

They are 2 sided (meaning there's a front and back), and I also have some 5X5 trifolds and actual 5X7 cards that open up as well. I'll post them soon. The cost is $35.00 to have a full resolution card added to your CD, or I can order printed cards for you as well and will have a price list ready at your session.

And while I'm posting, just a quick note, my fall is getting filled very fast. If you're interested in a session contact me as soon as possible before I fill up. My dates for family "mini sessions" will be announced this week, so be looking for that if you're interested in one, they'll go fast!

These two little cuties are from a session I haven't posted yet, but I couldn't resist these little cuties for this card.

The "C" Family

This family is just so adorable, and some of the nicest people I've ever known. Their little boys are so cute and the almost 2 year old is just full of energy. I was so grateful that they were so patient with me for my first studio session, it made it so much easier on me. And they've been super patient waiting for their sneak peak! Between lots of sessions and vacations, I'm so far behind. Thanks everyone for being so understanding. Hope you guys love these!

This little guy is so sweet. He's 2 months old, which is such a hard age to photograph, but I think we got some cute ones.

Such a beautiful Mom!

Our trip to Oregon

I was so excited to go to Oregon, and I'll confess that one of the main reasons was so that I could do a photo shoot of my kids on the beach. I just love beach shots, the ocean is so beautiful. So I loaded the car with petti skirts and pretty dresses, and cute jeans and shirts for the boys. We camped the first few nights, and then decided to do the shoot in the morning after we were in a beach house (baths are a good thing). It had been very cloudy and cold all week long, with the sun never peaking out before noon. So of course, on the morning we planned to do the shoot (our last morning there), it cleared up at 9:00 am, putting a quick stop to my plans. I was so sad! My sweet hubby was determined to find me something, so we headed up the shore and that evening we found a beach with a shipwreck that provided a teeny, tiny bit of shade. So this photo shoot is totally outside the box for me. I was dealing with very tricky lighting, kids who were cold, hungy, and exhausted, and a very short amount of time to work with. Not only that, but the summer clothes I'd brought for them were not going to work, it was chilly! That being said, even though they're totally different for me, and not at all what I was picturing, I love them. Because they remind that my husband wants me to be happy, and so do my kids, and because they're a memory of such a wonderful time we had. Oh, and don't feel bad for me, I ended up with tons of fun snapshots of the kids, they were so happy all week long!

Abbey was cold and tired, she didn't want to look at me for two seconds. Oh well, these really are so her at this age anyway!

A little sunflare is always fun!

This guy is the most tricky to work with. He's stubborn and full of energy. A bad combo when you want to take pics.

My sweet Caden who starts kindergarten in 2 weeks. I can't believe it!

And Jake who absolutely wanted to make sure I got a good picture of him. He was so cooperative, even though he totally hates getting his picture taken. I really love these of him, they show his sweet side so well.
