Welcome

Hi there, thanks for taking time to visit my blog. My name is Audrey Lewis, and I'm a busy Mom of 5 kids living in the Boise, Idaho area. I've always had a passion for taking pictures, but I really fell in love once I started having my own children. I realized how fast they grow up, and I wanted to capture every little moment I could so that I don't ever forget these precious years. I love photographing children, there's just something so magical about seeing the world through a childs eyes. I hope you enjoy your visit, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

A few Recent Favs...

We actually had one warm day this spring, on Monday, so I decided to take full advantage. I pulled out my favorite little outfit for Abbey. She's just such a cutie! She loves to play outside, so I took some snapshots while she was playing. Oh, and yes, we're back to freezing cold now. Do you think it will really ever be warm again? I'm starting to wonder!

And this one just makes me happy. I just love when my little girl loves on her Daddy. They have the sweetest relationship and this just captures it perfectly!

So Sweet!

These two little cuties were just adorable and so much fun to photograph! They have the sweetest Mom, and I was having way to much fun talking to her that I had to remind myself I was there to take pictures. This is her little guy, he's such a cutie and so full of energy! I just love this age with little boys!

And, I just adore sweet little newborns! It almost makes me want another one...but not quite yet. This little gal was so sweet and adorable. She was super content the entire time, unless we tried to put her on her tummy, she didn't love that at all. She also isn't a big fan of sleeping, but I'm sure she slept well after I left, we wore her out pretty good. Isn't she just beautiful!

I love little baby piggies!

And one more of big brother. So cute, I'm so lucky I get to photograph such cute kids!

The Train Depot

Our poor family has been hit with the stomach bug this week, yuck! I thought we over it, but last night little Abbey got it, and today my darling husband has been pretty miserable. As a result, I had 3 rowdy boys to deal with, so we had to get out of the house. Brady is so in love with trains right now, and he points out train tracks to me everywhere we go. So the photographer in me is thinking that it would be so cute to get some pics of him walking on the railroad tracks. So I loaded up the boys and off we went to the train depot. We had a great time. Really, we did. But I did not get one single shot of Brady, he just would not cooperate! All was not lost though. Caden was super sweet and cooperative. He is the stinkin cutest kid, but he is not the most photogenic. It really frustrates me because he has the best dimples and the cutest face, but he never looks as cute in pictures as he does in person. So I'm so excited with the pictures I got of him tonight, I got his genuine little smile. Love these of him, and just had to share! I tried out some vintage and textures on these:

And sweet Jake who hates wearing jeans and getting his pictures taken. He sacrifices big time for me, let me tell you (and he changed into shorts about 5 minutes after this picture was taken).

And this proves Brady was there. He really was. Not one good shot to prove it though. Oh well, guess we'll just have to take more pictures another time, what's a girl to do?

My Latest Project

Obviously I'm not a product photographer, ha ha! These really stink, sorry about that. I really love how this looks in person. My husband wanted some pictures of our kids in his Dental Office, so this is what I came up with. I've seen some fun collages done kind of like this and decided to give it a try. I will definitely be making one of these for our home, I love it so much! This is a 20x24 collage with 4x4 pictures on it. I'm so excited to offer these to clients. I can make them in any color, with black and white photos, and with whatever writing or quote you want on it. There are tons of options! I will be posting more collage designs in the future.

Here's a close up so you can see the detail of the non-photo blocks.

A little adventure....

So we told the kids last night that we were going to go on a little adventure. They were going on a treasure hunt to find buildings with neat colors or doors, just anything unusual. Of course, they didn't realize they were searching for fun spots to have Mommy take their pictures. They had a blast! And so did I, when don't I love photographing my kids? We're loving that spring has finally sprung around here and I'm so happy that I'm able to get back to my first love, outdoor photography! I was so happy to be back in my element. I was going to post all the kids pictures in one post, but I love way to many of them, so for now you're just getting Abbey. I just love these pictures of her, they really, really caught her personality. So fun. I think we'll be going on more treasure hunts soon!

This is what happens when Abbey sees a dog.....love that I caught it on camera!

I love her sassiness in these two, she cracks me up!

Way to Mobile...

Anyone have a baby that will sit still that will let me try out my new baby legs? Ha ha! Seriously though, it's getting tough to get any pictures of this girl, she's way to fast for me! I thought the girls were supposed to be the mellow ones, but her energy gives my boys a run for their money!

This is so classic of her, I have tons of photos of her with the thumb in the mouth and hand in the hair, but I love them! She'll grow out of it way to soon!
