Welcome

Hi there, thanks for taking time to visit my blog. My name is Audrey Lewis, and I'm a busy Mom of 5 kids living in the Boise, Idaho area. I've always had a passion for taking pictures, but I really fell in love once I started having my own children. I realized how fast they grow up, and I wanted to capture every little moment I could so that I don't ever forget these precious years. I love photographing children, there's just something so magical about seeing the world through a childs eyes. I hope you enjoy your visit, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

February!

In honor of my little Abbey turning one this month I decided to make my blog a little more girly, and add some photos of her in my header. Here's some fun ones I took of her yesterday. I know they're not technically the greatest, but I just love that I totally caught her funny little personality. I can't believe we're nearing her 1st birthday. Love ya sweetie!

Here's a few more of the pastel conversions. Can you tell that I love putting her in silly things to take her picture? She's really going to kill me when she gets older!

Sweet Baby Girl

It's been so fun to take pictures of newborns! What a new, fun experience. I have learned a ton! I was so excited when Miss B's mom called me. Somehow I'm just amazed that people still call me after seeing some of my work. It means a lot to me. This little gal is sooooo precious and sweet! She has the most amazing full lips I've ever seen, it's just adorable! She looks just like her Mom, who I just adore. They have the cutest little family!

Unlike my neice, once we got this little gal asleep she just slept and slept! I just love the look on her face in this one, and just check out those lips!!!

This is a new pastel conversion I'm trying out. I'd love to know what you think!

Mom said she loved the look of black and white with a little splash of color, so I gave it a try.

And this little guy was soooo sweet! He just loved his little sister and didn't want to stop kissing her. I love how these pictures of them together turned out!

Thanks so much K! I hope you love them, there's lots more coming!

My first Newborn Shoot!

My absolutely georgeous little sister had her sweet little baby girl last week! I was lucky enough to go to Utah and visit her for a day. She was so sweet and let me take some photos of their little family, and I had a blast! I couldn't get my little niece to sleep for the life of me, so I didn't get any cute curled up pictures, but I still think we managed to get some good ones. She is the most adorable newborn, she's just beautiful!!! I just love them both and I'm warning you that there are a lot of photos in this post, I had a hard time picking my favs!

Also, I want to dedicate this post to our little sister that passed away when she was three years old. Her birthday is today, so I've been thinking about her all day long. She would have been 23 years old today, it's hard to believe she's been gone for 20 years! My sweet little niece carries her name, so I thought it was perfect to post pictures of her namesake today. We love you and miss you Crystal! Happy Birthday!!!

This is why her baby is so beautiful! Have you ever seen anyone look that good a week after giving birth? I just love my sister!

I've never seen a Daddy so smitten with his little girl before, it's the cutest thing!

Aren't they an adorable family!

Look at all that hair!

This one just cracks me up! This is when it would have been nice if she'd gone to sleep for me! Since when are one week olds so alert anyway? I have such a new respect for newborn photographers!

Love you sweet girl! Congrats again to my sister, I love you to pieces!!! Thanks so much for letting me take pictures for you, I loved it!

More of Abbey

I had so much fun with the pink and brown tutu, that I had to make one of my other favorite color combo, pink and orange!

I went to my sisters house over the weekend to meet her new little baby. She is the sweetest thing, and I'm dying to post the pictures I took of her, but wanted my sister to see them first. I'll post them soon though! In the meantime, these are some random snapshots I took of my little girl in my sisters awesome lighting!!! She has the best lighting in her home, I'm so jealous! I'm still mad at my husband for building a patio cover, it blocks all my light!!!

I borrowed a fur lined coat from my sister, so it's a little big for Abbey, but still cute.

This is Abbey's newest accomplishment, she's learned how to play peek-a-boo. She loves it!!! She covers her eyes with her little hands, and when she pulls them away she just giggles and giggles! I'm so glad I got her reaction on camera!

Ain't she cute!
