Christmas Gift

I haven't had much time on my hands for scrapping lately, but decided with my Sister and Sister-in-law to make my Mom a calendar for Christmas. She all ready has a Grandma Brag book in the 8X8 size, so we decided to stick with that size so that she can put the layouts in there once that month is over. Little Abbey was born in February, so she gets that month. Thought I'd share the layout I made. It was so nice to get my hands in patterned paper and scrappy stuff again!

Another "C" Family

Wow, between Christmas and life, I'm really far behind on my posting! I'm finally starting to get a litte more caught up and I only have one more shoot before Christmas, the rest aren't until the new year, so hopefully I'll get all caught up! I am so blessed that these families have trusted me to take their pictures. I keep telling my husband that I'm so nervous that now that people have seen my work I won't be getting anymore phone calls! This has been such a fun learning experience for me! I'm still not anywhere near a professional, but I sure love capturing these families in photos!!!

This family is so adorable and it was so much fun to take their pictures. I simply adore their Mom, she's an amazing lady. I just love how cute they all are!

Miss "A" is so beautiful, and so mature for her age! She's so much fun, and she has a thing for red heads, so we get along great!!!

When I saw this one I was thinking "Holy smokes! Since when do 13 year old girls look like that!!!" Good luck Mom, she's going to be a heart breaker!

Usually boys around "B's" age just really don't want to get their pictures taken. They complain and don't want to do it, so I was a little nervous! But "B" was awesome! He got up and did everything I asked of him without one complaint. What a super kid! I love the pics I got of him.

This "B" man didn't want to smile at me for nothin! I think he was trying to play a game with me, you know the "just try and get me to smile at you lady" game. He's such a funny kid and totally reminds me of my 4 year old! I think we got some good ones of you anyway big guy!!!

And this little darling is oh so sweet and was so easy to photograph! Thanks again "C" family, let's do it again sometime!!!

The "J" Family

This family is just adorable! I have a lot of respect for this family, they are such great people! Their kids are so good, but I tell ya, it's hard to get everyone smiling and happy when little ones are involved! I think that's why I'm so much more comfortable with portraits than family shots, I only have to worry about one person! I've definitely gone out of my comfort zone lately and done lots of families, and it's really been a learning experience for me! Anyway, I still think we managed to get a few good ones!

Aren't they so cute! Mom's don't get any more beautiful than this, and their kids are way too cute!

Poor Mom was really having to hold onto the little guy when we were taking pictures.

This little guy is a character! He had me cracking up!

He was barely tall enough to get his head up there, and I was cracking up that he was clinging for dear life with his fingers. When I tried to get him to close them he looked at me like I was nuts!

And this little guy was so thrilled when we just put him down and let him do his thing. So cute!

The "C" Family

I seriously get to take pictures of the cutest families! I love it!!! I've been busy and I'm way behind posting on here, but I'm trying to get caught up. So here goes.

I just love this family! They are so much fun, and I really feel like we caught their personality in their family photos. They were so easy to shoot, I could post one picture after another, I loved them all! Here's a couple of my favorites:

How handsome are these two?! This is the first time I've photographed teenage boys, they are so fun! And these guys were really good sports about it (even though their Dad was totally teasing them!!).

This little girl is so beautiful! I love her hair, the color is just perfect! Her missing tooth is too cute! She's just like my little Abbey, the only girl with 3 brothers. So fun!

We all know that I LOVE red heads! It's not to often that I find a red head that's as cute as mine are, but this little guy is! He's adorable, and totally cracked me up! Most of the pictures I got of him he was being a "monster", but I think we still got some fun ones!

The "W" Family

Wow, I've been busy this week! Lots of Christmas card photos are being taken! So, remember little Miss "M" from yesterday? How could you forget?! Well, we decided to shoot their family today, since the weather was perfect and it's supposed to get colder for the rest of the week. We couldn't have asked for better weather! The kids were great, and I had so much fun shooting them! They are so stinking photogenic, and the cutest family!!! I could seriously post pictures of them all day long, they are too fun! I haven't even gone through them all yet, so I'm sure you'll be seeing more as I get to them. Thanks "W" family, hope you like them!
